Scott Burns is a professional performer with a fiery passion for all forms of Musical entertainment! His performance life started as a DJ in London’s Westend Circa 1988, soon after, his love of music saw him fronting cover bands as a lead singer. This passion for singing led quickly to his love of performing in musical theatre, and the rest they say is history!
Scott now lives in Tasmania and performs regularly at both the Hobart & Launceston Casino, in the covers duo “The 50/50”. Scott has been seen in a variety of dramatic roles, such as the lead role of Sweeney Todd in Bijou Creatives production at the Playhouse Theatre. Scott has appeared on TV as the Soulful Singing Preacher telling Tasmania to POO,POKE,POST! as well as other TV, Stage and film work. Scott is also a keen voiceover actor, working last year on the “Re-think ADHD” animation campaign. Scott has appeared in several seasons, for Hamley Productions Shakespeare mash up series, “Much ado” at the beautiful Pooley Wines Vineyard in Richmond.
