Zach Spinks is a young Tasmanian guitarist and songwriter with a unique style and feel that’s well beyond his 20 years.
Developing an interested in guitar at high school, Zach became intrigued with the percussive, finger tapping scene that was gaining momentum among instrumentalists and it’s in this style that his creative edge found its home.
In 2013, while still in High School, Zach took his new found passion to the stage at local Hobart venues and festival like Taste of Tasmania. It was around this time that he won a Sony Music Competition for songwriting.
A gifted guitarist, Zach was recently invited to the Cole Clark guitar factory in Melbourne and has been added to their sponsored players list. During this trip he met legendary Australian guitarist Lloyd Spiegel, who has since taken Zach under his wing.
Zach has toured with his debut EP, titled ‘The way home’.
