Officially formed in 2014, JAKS are an acoustic/alternative/rock cover band hailing from the small coastal town of Ulverstone on the North West Coast of Tasmania.

We play a wide range of tunes from all decades, ranging from your popular laid back ballads and singalongs, to your classic alternative, pop & rock bangers from as far back as the 70's right up to the most recent Top40/Triple J chart toppers.

Our unique blend of acoustic and electric guitars, male and female lead and harmonic vocals, and percussion supplied by a powerful BeatBuddy foot pedal and homemade wooden stompbox, is the perfect accompaniment for a great night out with your friends.

Our gigs can be loud and energetic, or soft and laid back depending on what the occasion demands.

We have now clocked over 100 gigs ranging from public appearances at various pubs and clubs across the North West Coast to performing at a wide range of private functions including weddings, engagements, xmas dinners, birthdays and house warmings.
