Jolley Hatters

description

Morris dancing originated in the Cotswold in England  in the 16th century & is a very colourful street folk dance using sticks, hankies & garlands.

We have performed at many events including at Cygnet Folk Festival, Evandale Penny Farthing & Harmony Day celebrations in Moonah.

We have also danced at the wharf on many occasions including at Wooden Boat Festival.

Our next gig will be at the Huon Valley Mid Winter Fest at Willie Smiths on July 15th where we will join other Morris dancers from Victoria in Wassailing the apple trees.
