Southern Lights Big Band is an independent community big band run by community musicians for community musicians of all ages in the greater Hobart region

Southern Lights Big Band received 1st place in the open entertainment section at the 2019 Hobart Eisteddfod - receiving the adjudication comment of "a seasoned, slick Big Band".

Swing dancing, Rock n Roll, Ballroom dancing, even ANZAC old-time music hall, we have your community event covered! It just goes to show how versatile this band can be.
