The Original Steel Rose formed in the mid 80's and had great success in Hobart and around the state playing a mix of contemporary and classic songs from the 60's up to the latest hits.

After six years of non-stop performing, the band decided to move on with most members going on to bigger and better things.

In 2016 the Steel Rose decided to reform and with the addition of a female vocalist and another guitarist has once again been gaining popularity bringing a unique blend of music and showmanship to the people of Tasmania.
