Tim Davies is an Australian singer-songwriter. He began his career as a solo artist in 1996 and has since been associated with some of Australia's most Iconic performers and more recently internationally renowned musician Jeff Martin from the band The Tea Party.
Hailing from the southern shores of Tasmania, Tim uses an amalgamation of guitars and vocal harmony combined with electronic soundscapes and aftershocks to create a gritty, euphoric journey into mind, space and the inner rumble of life and the human condition. The transitions from raw, hard edged rock through into ambient fluid, is a true exploration into the senses.
Throughout his solo career he has worked and shared the stage with some of Australia's most Iconic performers. He has also built a relationship with the internationally renowned music and art festival, Mona Foma (which included performing at the grand opening of the Museum of Old and New Art).
Following a string of support and festival work Tim withdrew to his own private studio to begin work on a project spawned his first solo independent release "Counting Down the Numbers" and open shows for Dallas Frasca, Phil Jamieson of Grinspoon, Mark Seymour & the Undertow and Jeff Martin of The Tea Party.
Tim's second release "The Crystal Cabinet" was released in December 2017 and launched in an old disused church.- Based around the William Blake poem of the same name this album was written, recorded, performed and produced entirely by Tim at his own Cromwell Studios Recording studio.
After having shared the stage with some of the world's most influential performers, Tim has found his own way of creating a mystic and yet dirty road into rock and roll.
