Brought together with the soulful voice of Sabine Bester, the band performs its unique choice of old to new popular songs and works the crowd to create an infectious live experience. Transit is a versatile band that also performs light jazz/dinner music and can add songs to their repertoire by request for your wedding, party or corporate event.

Transit performs a variety of music suiting all tastes and adds their own highly energetic funky flavour. Classics from Stevie Wonder, James Brown and The Beatles to smash hits from Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse and Beyoncé are all a part of Transit's diverse repertoire. With well over 10 years professional experience, Transit has performed at weddings, corporate functions, parties, leavers dinners, pubs, clubs and wineries. Transit has also made appearances on ABC radio and headlined jazz festivals. All members of the band have either graduated or currently studying at the University of Tasmania Conservatorium.
Transit can perform as an acoustic duo or trio to provide light background music. With prior notice the band can learn requests that may be desired for your event. Transit provides a quality P.A. system suitable for most venues, a microphone for speeches and customised music on mp3/CD player for set breaks.
