Robbie Hanson

As a drummer and backup singer, Robbie has played in some of Tassie's most successful acts, starting off his career in Complex Minds alongside Hobart legend, Michael Clennett. During the late 80's and early 90's his band "Mr Friendly" played the best clubs in Tassie but felt they needed to move to Melbourne for bigger opportunities. There, Robbie performed at gala events such as the Channel 10 Christmas party, hosted by Bert Newton, the AFL Richmond Tigers best and fairest ball, three years in a row, the Melbourne Car Show before a crowd of 10,000 and many other prestigious functions. Recently, Robbie became well known playing percussion and singing in the duo "Rum Jungle" who were also one of Tassie's premier function acts. Now Robbie is continuing his progression, lead singing, harmonising and playing percussion in "Up town"
