BREATHE – the sound of Pink Floyd
Eleven performers pour their passions into a two-set show of guitar based power ballads, soaring solos and rhythmic finesse against a backdrop of compelling visuals and stunning lighting. Songs include ‘Breathe’, ‘Money’, ‘Us & Them’, ‘Comfortably Numb’ and ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’ from the albums ‘Dark Side of the Moon’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, ‘The Wall’, ‘Pulse’ and ‘In The Flesh’. Analysing and reproducing their classic hits as well as some of the lesser known numbers has quickened a great respect for the songwriting skills and arrangements which have made this band so memorable to so many. Alan Archer is front and centre as lead singer with 3 sensational guitarists belting out the well known riffs around him; Brendan King, Andrew Cooper and Wayne Rand. Kim Cambridge on bass and Steven Pugh drums complete the rhythm section. Sound effects and piano parts are performed by Richard Fedosojevs and Steve Macfarlane with backing singers Sherry Rand and Tanya Cooper plus Teresa Beck-Swindale on sax, vocals and percussion. A stunning light show with projected images complements the staging.
