Boil Up- has a strong Kiwi reggae influence: Katchafire, Fat Freddy's Drop, Sons of Zion: but still play classic tunes by Bob Marley including- Roots Rock Reggae, Could You Be Loved, I Shot the Sheriff and modern reggae tunes of today, like I'm Yours,- and Valerie. Now focusing more on original songs that are fused with hip-hop, rap, R and B rock and ska reggae, the band is slowly finding its feet with a raw sound held together by some of Hobart's finest musicians. A strong vocal harmony- line and a singer with a lot of energy out front keeps the crowd guessing!
