Geelong born and raised, Adam Page has been entertaining crowds all over Australia for over 25 years in various musical outfits in both the cover band scene and original music scene. A bona fide Tasmanian since 2010, Adam established rock and roll duo “Ball & Chain” who within 3 years became one of Tasmania’s premier musical acts. Adam has been performing solo since 2014 and covers all the hits from 1956 through to now and that includes the cream of classic Aussie rock! Adam Page is regarded as Tasmania’s premier Elvis Presley Tribute artist and in 2018 ventured off to the world-renowned Parkes Elvis Festival in N.S.W where he performed two shows and made a guest appearance ‘unplugged’ on the main stage at Cooke Park. He is back there in 2019 and is performing six shows, including two with the Presley All-Star band on the Cooke Park main stage. Adam also operates ‘Elvis Weddings Tasmania’, who have now conducted dozens of Vegas style Elvis weddings in both Tasmania and Victoria. Adam performs over 120 gigs every year and ensures everyone gets involved in his shows and has a ball. He is a regular festival favourite and performs each year at many local festivals including Fingal Valley Festival, Tasmanian Mountain Cattlemen’s Association Annual Muster, A Day at the Creek, Tas Racing Club race meetings and more. – Adam also performs every weekend in pubs, clubs, corporate functions, weddings, casinos and loads of parties and private functions.
Allison Farrow| |A classically-trained vocalist, actor and presenter with special interests in music theatre, jazz and children’s entertainment. Allison performs beautifully solo, as a duo with Andrew Short and with trio “Swoon”. An exceptional performer whose credits include prominent Tasmanian Festival of Voices, Community Christmas Carols and numerous lead roles in major theatre musical productions. Allison can adapt to a number of styles (including pop, folk, country, classical and music theatre). If you want to add a touch of class to your event Island Entertainment will work with you and Allison to find the perfect show stopper. Allison Farrow Equally at home in front of an orchestra or in a country music hall, Allison is a versatile performer with almost 30 years of performing experience across a number of genres. She has performed throughout Australia, Europe and Asia and has been involved in festivals worldwide, including Edinburgh Fringe, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Ten Days on the Island, Festival of Voices, MONAFOMA and TasPride. A classically trained soprano, Allison has played roles including Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, Lily in The Secret Garden, Papagena in The Magic Flute, Cosette in Les Miserables, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Claudia in Nine, Judy/Ginger in Ruthless! The Musical, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady and Sylvia in the world premiere of For the Term of His Natural Life. Her one-woman cabarets I’m a Stranger Here Myself: the Songs of Kurt Weill, In the Still of the Night: an evening with Cole Porter, and Dumb Blonde: the genius of Dolly Parton have played to popular and critical acclaim. In 2013 she presented Spring Fever: Allison Farrow with Kelly Ottaway and band with the Theatre Royal, Hobart. For Bel Canto Young Opera, Allison has performed the role of Serpina in Pergolesi’s The Perfect Wife and the title role in Peter Maxwell Davies’ Cinderella. She has also worked with IHOS opera, in productions including Rapture and The Divine Kiss, and recorded a solo work for soprano, Incantation Echo, which was broadcast on Classic FM. Allison performed in Dylan Sheridan’s chamber opera, starchild, as part of MONA FOMA in 2013. Allison provided the voice for ‘Betty Bug’ in Blue Rocket’s animated television series Buzz Bumble and featured numerous times with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, narrating/singing for Little Red Riding Hood in 2014, Maximus Musicus Visits the Orchestra in 2015 (and again in May 2019) and The Tale of Gibson in 2016. Her children’s shows have been a regular fixture in the Festival of Voices and include Sing a Rainbow (2016), Rhymes My Nanna Taught Me (2017), More Rhymes My Nanna Taught Me (2018) and Jazz Hands (2019). Allison performs regularly with her jazz quintet Allison Farrow & Friends for corporate and festival events, and is a member of the glamorous female harmony trio Swoon. Allison Farrow and Andrew Short Allison and Andrew have been performing together for more than 25 years, sharing the stage as the Cosette and Marius in Les Miserables (2000), Christine and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera (2013), and Eliza and Freddy in My Fair Lady (2019). Known as the gorgeous couple behind the Festival of Voices perennial sell-out event, Afternoon at the Ritz, the duo have also featured for the Clarence Jazz Festival with their show Lullaby of Broadway, and featured in Judy Tierney’s Burning Desire Festival in 2020. Allison and Andrew are both local artists with extensive lists of individual credits.
Applause Murder Mystery|
Island Entertainment is working with Applause Entertainment to provide hosted Murder Mystery events in Tasmania: great for Teambuilding, Staff Social Function, Fundraiser, Teenage or Adult Party, Hen’s Night. With a variety of formats, there’re lots of ways to get the most out of your Murder Mystery event.
- 1 Host up to 40 people. The host’s energy will help get everyone into character, and immersing in the plot. The host will greet them in full character, and the fun begins! You won’t have to do a thing as the host takes charge with every element of the game.
- 2 Hosts 20-60 people. Your guests will be treated to a “show” of banter and interaction between the characters. The extra host will ensure every guest will receive attention and keep everyone on track and engaged in the story.
- 3 Hosts up to 80 people.– If you find yourself with a full-blown guest list, you’ll want to give them the full-blown experience. 3 hosts will ensure that the night runs smoothly and efficiently, with everyone getting involved and interactive. Bodane Hatten is a professional magician from Australia now based in Poland that specialises in stage comedy magic. An aficionado of classical magic routines Bodane is always looking for new ways to bring life to old tricks with a modern presentation for today’s audiences. The first stage show he co-wrote and performed in was “˜Underground Magic’ in Hobart, Tasmania. Following the success of this show he went on to write and perform in “˜Deception’, “˜Inappropriate Magic’, “˜C’est La Vie’ & “˜A Slieghtly Funny Magic Show’ which have been performed across the world. Borys has been riding for over 20 years, starting in Europe and developing his skills throughout Asia and Australia. Borys Zagrocki holds 2 Australian National Elite Championships, he coaches and performs regularly around Australia and overseas. Borys Zagrocki offers a unique entertainment experience with the aim of inspiring the audience and getting jaws dropping. From jumping his bike over some brave volunteers, to jumping onto his van’s roof – Borys got you covered for your daily adrenaline dose!

Writing original music and publicly performing since the age of 15, Bridget has supported a number of high profile local and international acts, including Joe Cocker, Lior, Josh Pyke, John Butler Trio, Renee Geyer, Tex Perkins, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Indigo Girls, Ian Moss, Leo Kottke and many more. She has also performed at Falls Festival, Byron Bay’s Bluesfest, Tasmania’s Southern Roots Festival and has also performed one of her original songs on the hit TV series “˜Neighbours’. She is continuing writing original music along with performing live around the Hobart pub circuit.

Christopher Howard – Balloon Artist|
Christopher Howard started balloon twisting approximately four years ago with a local dads’ group, who at the time were using it to give back to their community. Since then he has developed a love of creating and making children smile. Over this time his balloons have grown from very basic dogs and swords to exciting multi-balloon creations that have children lining up to both watch and receive them. Christopher is more than happy to travel throughout all of the North East of Tasmania to bring added fun to your event.
Circus Theme Night|
Roll Up, Roll Up, Roll up! The circus is in town! Tasmania- is home to some of the finest circus performers in the country, and Island Entertainment can create a circus themed night for your event. A night can include any of- the following… Upon arrival, your guests can be met by stilt walkers, balloon twisters, fire twirlers or jugglers. There are a few different highlight acts to use for the main show Popeyed & Son:- Balancing acrobatics duo, and really a father and son! Aerialists: venue dependent, and can be available with a portable rig. Other acts able to be incorporated: a Ringmaster, Magicians and tumblers. Let the circus big top come to your event!
City of Hobart Highland Pipe Band| |
The City of Hobart Highland Pipe Band is currently the largest pipe band in Tasmania with over thirty playing members. They play at a number of community-based functions throughout the year, including ANZAC Day marches, Christmas parades in Hobart and Oatlands, and regional fairs at Bream Creek and Middleton. In addition to full band performances, the band can also provide solo pipers or mini-bands to add something special to any event. We are available for all occasions, whether weddings, funerals, corporate events, parties, fairs- and play at Salamanca Markets once a month (3rd Saturday of each month), often joined by the Bonnie Highland Dancers. The Band has a broad repertoire of marches, slow airs, strathspeys, jigs, reels and hornpipes. The Band can perform a combination of Scottish favourites and more contemporary pieces, including some Irish and Australian tunes. Drill and or dance can be incorporated into the performance to suit the occasion. The duration of performances can be varied to suit the event:- a typical performance is of 10 to 20 minutes duration.
Spend an evening with three of Hobart’s leading men in a tribute to Hi-jinks, High balls and happy hour featuring the tunes and Croons od Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr and many more. Hilarity and harmonies combine for a Vegas style show that has delighted audiences and critics alike.
Daryl Peebles – Roving Magician| |
Daryl uses illusion and charm to guarantee a perfect roving magician. But he also uses different objects he produces from a ‘hand-bag’, his diary, a kitchen knife, odd bits of rope, light globes and rubber bands are common. For tourists, he loves to play ‘travel agent poker’ with a surprise ending that promotes Tasmania as a great tourist destination. Throughout his table routine, Daryl’s main emphasis is the humour in the performance. Daryl is a personable magician who combines conversation and positive interaction with clients while also amazing them with his illusion.
Known for his hilarious and empathetic characters, Dylan Hesp is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor, who brings the loveable losers of our world to life on both the screen and stage. Launching onto the stand-up scene in 2012, Dylan was chosen to perform in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s prestigious Raw Comedy National Final, and since then has gone on to support acts like Sam Simmons, Dave O’Neill, Lehmo & Cal Wilson. Online, Dylan’s character comedy shorts have received over a million views and have been viewed and shared by a growing audience around the globe who keep returning to Dylan’s unique brand of comedy. In 2017, Dylan co-created and starred in the multi-platform comedy series Australia’s Best Street Racer, as part of Screen Australia and Screen Tasmania’s #ComedyConcentrate initiative. ‘Street Racer’ was met with overwhelming industry response, and Dylan was handpicked by the team at Jungle Entertainment to star in his breakout role alongside Sacha Horler and Phil Lloyd as Eric in Sando on ABC TV.

We offer one and two hour shows available for functions, parties, weddings and hotels. Kerry has been an Elvis fan since he was about 9 years old and started performing when he was in grade 6. He has been performing The Elvis show professionally for about 4 years now for hotels functions RSL clubs and weddings. For the last 7 months The Elvis Show has had a residency at the Launceston Country Club Casino once a month. The show itself is a 2 man show ““ The performer and a sound technician. The costumes are Elvis replicas which are sourced from America, as is the jewelry. The 2 hour show entails 30 to 40 songs ranging from 1950 to 1977, covering Elvis’s career such as Hound Dog, Blue Suede Shoes, Burning Love, In the Ghetto, Always on my mind, Bridge Over Troubled Water and Sweet Caroline.
