Abe Parsons| |Abe Parsons is a Tasmanian-based singer/songwriter. As both a solo performer and vocalist of local band Little Island, Abe has years of experience playing to a range of audiences; from playing at pubs, parties and weddings across the country, to the main stages of Falls Festival and Party in the Paddock. Abe was also awarded the National Folk Alliance’s award for Tasmania’s Best Young Performer in 2021. In addition to performing original music, Abe has also developed a large repertoire of covers that cater to any environment, spanning a range of genres and eras that are bound to please everyone.

Geelong born and raised, Adam Page has been entertaining crowds all over Australia for over 25 years in various musical outfits in both the cover band scene and original music scene. A bona fide Tasmanian since 2010, Adam established rock and roll duo “Ball & Chain” who within 3 years became one of Tasmania’s premier musical acts. Adam has been performing solo since 2014 and covers all the hits from 1956 through to now and that includes the cream of classic Aussie rock! Adam Page is regarded as Tasmania’s premier Elvis Presley Tribute artist and in 2018 ventured off to the world-renowned Parkes Elvis Festival in N.S.W where he performed two shows and made a guest appearance ‘unplugged’ on the main stage at Cooke Park. He is back there in 2019 and is performing six shows, including two with the Presley All-Star band on the Cooke Park main stage. Adam also operates ‘Elvis Weddings Tasmania’, who have now conducted dozens of Vegas style Elvis weddings in both Tasmania and Victoria. Adam performs over 120 gigs every year and ensures everyone gets involved in his shows and has a ball. He is a regular festival favourite and performs each year at many local festivals including Fingal Valley Festival, Tasmanian Mountain Cattlemen’s Association Annual Muster, A Day at the Creek, Tas Racing Club race meetings and more. – Adam also performs every weekend in pubs, clubs, corporate functions, weddings, casinos and loads of parties and private functions.
Addison Marshall| |
Addison Marshall a 21 year old self-employed musician/entertainer from Ulverstone, Tasmania. Addison have been providing music and entertainment professionally for 5 years. Marshall started singing when at 18, started playing pedal steel at 15 and started piano at 2 years of age. Marshall works as a solo musician and with other artists. He is one half of a well-established duo established in 2016 and is one fifth of a Tasmanian rock and roll band called The Sun Kings. Marshall has been faithfully subcontracted by Federal Group since September 2016 and frequently performs in the Watergarden at Country Club Tasmania, Launceston and has become one of the most widely requested solo artists to perform at the Casino For the past three years, Marshall has directed the band for Mulwala Country Music Festival. This is a music festival held on the Murray River each year around ANZAC day weekend. Marshall attended the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2017 where he busked and performed for many high-profile artists. On January 26th 2017, Marshall entered a Jamboree which was held at a church in Tamworth and won first prize receiving a scholarship for the Junior Academy of Country Music where he graduated. At 21 years of age, Marshall has already established himself in the country music industry throughout Australia and has expanded his repertoire to include more popular music spanning several decades. Addison is a diverse act that can sing any song from any era and plans on widening his repertoire even further.

Allison Farrow| |A classically-trained vocalist, actor and presenter with special interests in music theatre, jazz and children’s entertainment. Allison performs beautifully solo, as a duo with Andrew Short and with trio “Swoon”. An exceptional performer whose credits include prominent Tasmanian Festival of Voices, Community Christmas Carols and numerous lead roles in major theatre musical productions. Allison can adapt to a number of styles (including pop, folk, country, classical and music theatre). Allison Farrow Equally at home in front of an orchestra or in a country music hall, Allison is a versatile performer with almost 30 years of performing experience across a number of genres. She has performed throughout Australia, Europe and Asia and has been involved in festivals worldwide, including Edinburgh Fringe, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Ten Days on the Island, Festival of Voices, MONAFOMA and TasPride. A classically trained soprano, Allison has played roles including Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, Lily in The Secret Garden, Papagena in The Magic Flute, Cosette in Les Miserables, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Claudia in Nine, Judy/Ginger in Ruthless! The Musical, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady and Sylvia in the world premiere of For the Term of His Natural Life. Her one-woman cabarets I’m a Stranger Here Myself: the Songs of Kurt Weill, In the Still of the Night: an evening with Cole Porter, and Dumb Blonde: the genius of Dolly Parton have played to popular and critical acclaim. In 2013 she presented Spring Fever: Allison Farrow with Kelly Ottaway and band with the Theatre Royal, Hobart. For Bel Canto Young Opera, Allison has performed the role of Serpina in Pergolesi’s The Perfect Wife and the title role in Peter Maxwell Davies’ Cinderella. She has also worked with IHOS opera, in productions including Rapture and The Divine Kiss, and recorded a solo work for soprano, Incantation Echo, which was broadcast on Classic FM. Allison performed in Dylan Sheridan’s chamber opera, starchild, as part of MONA FOMA in 2013. Allison provided the voice for ‘Betty Bug’ in Blue Rocket’s animated television series Buzz Bumble and featured numerous times with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, narrating/singing for Little Red Riding Hood in 2014, Maximus Musicus Visits the Orchestra in 2015 (and again in May 2019) and The Tale of Gibson in 2016. Her children’s shows have been a regular fixture in the Festival of Voices and include Sing a Rainbow (2016), Rhymes My Nanna Taught Me (2017), More Rhymes My Nanna Taught Me (2018) and Jazz Hands (2019). Allison performs regularly with her jazz quintet Allison Farrow & Friends for corporate and festival events, and is a member of the glamorous female harmony trio Swoon. Allison Farrow and Andrew Short Allison and Andrew have been performing together for more than 25 years, sharing the stage as the Cosette and Marius in Les Miserables (2000), Christine and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera (2013), and Eliza and Freddy in My Fair Lady (2019). Known as the gorgeous couple behind the Festival of Voices perennial sell-out event, Afternoon at the Ritz, the duo have also featured for the Clarence Jazz Festival with their show Lullaby of Broadway, and featured in Judy Tierney’s Burning Desire Festival in 2020. Allison and Andrew are both local artists with extensive lists of individual credits.
Amanda Hodder| |Amanda can play a huge cross section of classical piano repertoire and cocktail’ish piano pieces. Described as “magic” by esteemed pianist and accompanist Malcolm Martineau, Amanda has worked as pianist, vocal coach and music director with Opera Australia, OzOpera, Opera Queensland, VCA, Sydney Philarmonia Choirs, Gondwana Voices, University of Tasmania and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. While completing her Master of Music at the Victorian College of Arts with Dr Donna Coleman, she won the Geoffrey Parsons Award, The Mietta Song Recital Award, the Accompanist Award at Liederfest, and the Lady Hamer Scholarship at VCA. A keen collaborator, Amanda has co-created new works for Festival of Voices, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Melbourne Cabaret Festival, Melbourne Comedy Festival, St Martins Youth Arts and Junction Arts Festival. In recording, Amanda has appeared on Monique Brumby’s latest album Closer to the Truth, Hush Vol. 20, and regularly appears on Classic FM performing the music of Tasmanian composer Jabra Latham. Having recently left her role as Co-ordinator of Classical Voice at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music, Amanda has spent the first half of 2021 performing at Mona Foma, Ten Days on the Island, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Australian Musical Theatre Festival, and Festival of Voices. A passionate advocate for community group singing, Amanda runs the Hobart Glee Club, a zero-obligation choir that meets once a week.
Andy Collins| |Andy Collins delivers a professional and dynamic acoustic solo act. His song list spans from 60s to current with a focus on 70s, 80’s and 90s. His ‘four to the floor’ stomp box work creates an undeniable groove and will be sure get your listeners feet tapping. Andy is a university music graduate and guitar teacher by day. He released a solo album in 2001, DJ’d on radio for 5 years and his guitar instruction videos on YouTube have received over 48 million views. He also plays in duo Tori & Andy,– and with several bands.
Angela Bryan Duo| |
The Angela Bryan Duo have been performing in and around Hobart since 2005. They performed regularly through the summer months of 2005/06 at the Source Restaurant at Moorilla, and enjoyed Sunday afternoon residencies at The Beach House in Sandy Bay during 2006/07 and 2012/13, and at Fish 349 in North Hobart during 2007/08. Other regular venues have included The Prince of Wales Hotel in Battery Point, The Fern Tree Tavern, The Queen’s Head Hotel,- Hadley’s Hotel and Wrest Point Casino. They have performed at the Hot August Jazz and Taste of the Huon festivals and for numerous weddings, parties, art exhibition openings, etc. at such venues as Peppermint Bay, the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, the Bahai Centre, the Derwent Sailing Squadron and the Long Gallery. 2012 saw the release of their CD “Skylark” which features covers of some well known jazz and popular songs. Playing mostly gentle ballads and soul songs,- Ani- and- Harry- found common ground focusing on the sensitive and sentimental.- Weaving their combined influences, Ani’s soul and art pop stylings and Harry’s experience as a gypsy and modern jazz guitarist, this duo have entertained audiences in jazz lounges, at wedding ceremonies and jazz festivals throughout the state. Arman & Co.|
Arman & Co. is a Hobart-based band which plays a mix of Swing, Latin, and Ballads. Front man of the band is jazz vocalist, Arman Bratamidjaja. Arman has a crooning bass-baritone voice which is often compared to classic crooners such as Frank Sinatra and Johnny Hartman. This young man moved from the island of Java, Indonesia to Hobart in 2016 and formed this band. The band commonly perform as a quintet of vocal, double bass, drums, guitar and saxophone. It has now performed in numerous venues around Tasmania and regularly perform at jazz festivals namely the Hot August Jazz Festival and Clarence Jazz Festival. Backed by the best musicians in town, Arman & Co. delivers a show that brings audience back to the era of classic crooners. Rock band Barrelhouse has been having fun moving and shaking audiences in Hobart and around the state since 2012. Despite the band’s name, they don’t play barrelhouse jazz – defined as “a raucous, driving, unsophisticated style, usually in a small, cheap old-time saloon with a row of racked barrels along the wall”, – (although they admit parts of that description may apply to the band at different times). They can also chill out and put down a quiet, tasteful set for you.
Belle’s Boys| |Hobart based RnB/Soul and Funk band Belle’s Boys are a passionate group of musicians coming from a variety of different backgrounds. Formed and based in Hobart, Tasmania in 2019, they have played in a variety of venues such as Altar, Pablo’s Cocktails and Dreams and Cascade Brewery Bar. Belle Richardson on Vocals, Eric Amani on Bass, Michael Chater on Guitar, Matt Meehan-Lam on Drums and Dan John on Keys.
