Phil has partnered with more than 150 organisations as a keynote speaker, facilitator and event host, and is now based back in his hometown of Hobart.

Phil’s keynoted at a range of business and leadership sessions, hosted VIP events at TEDxSydney, industry panels and regional forums - and is experienced with in-person, virtual and hybrid delivery platforms.

Topic areas include resilience, adaptability, critical thinking, purpose and the human side of AI. He provides the clarity, focus and strategies to thrive amidst change and deliver lasting impact.

He connects with audiences through his authentic, intelligent and relatable style that makes transformation and change feel achievable, not abstract.

After an extensive corporate career and leading a global team responsible for more than $50 billion of investment exposures, Phil went solo to empower leaders and teams to work smarter and better together.

He draws on his vast experience in corporate and community leadership roles, and as a clutch ‘facilitator’ hired to manage critical stages of multi-sector projects. Those roles have seen him perform in boardrooms, on big stages and on a basketball court in the back of Bourke (literally)!

Phil's the author of Connecting Profit with Purpose, has launched two podcasts and recently featured in The CEO Magazine, CPA’s InTheBlack and the AFR report on purpose in business.

He’s also an accredited ‘master facilitator’ with critical thinking experts, Janellis, where he has guided training and crisis simulation exercises for executive teams.

A Tasmanian who migrated to Mainland Australia and then back again, Phil’s been a singer / songwriter in a progressive folk / blues band; delivered his second child in a bathtub and refuses to accept that he has a chocolate addiction.
