Lindy-Lou & The Damo provide entertainment for public and private events. With a full repertoire of popular music to enhance any event.
From an early background in dance, theatre and music, in 1979 Lindy-Lou got her big break after winning the prestigious Channel 9 Tasmania’s New Faces which launched a long and successful singing career. Lindy-Lou Bean has enjoyed a highly successful career spanning over 50 years and is a multi award-winning singer and recording artist.
Over her career, Lindy-Lou has worked in numerous successful bands all over Tassie, from the NW coastal band, Judge ‘n’ Jury, to Bodytalk, Total Fire band, Cheap & Easy, Borderline and on to Resident Singer at Wrest Point Casino. Her show band, Hot Gossip, toured with America on the Tassie leg of their tour.
As the Resident singer at Wrest Point, she supported many National and International artists, including John Farnham, Darryl Braithwaite, Randy Travis, Helen Reddy, Johnny Chester, Tony Pantano and many more.
Lindy-Lou was inducted as the 2018 Legend of Country Music by TICMA, Tasmanian Independent Country Music Association.
Damian Neep is a trained drummer/teacher/vocalist...he brings many years of band experience and recordings to the duo. Damo has a powerful vocal sound and it is his presence that has earned the duo the tag...'The Party Band'. He's a consumate professional and vibrant entertainer.
Lindy-Lou and Damian showcase genres from the 70s to today, if you want rockin vocals, great entertainment and dance music, then this is your act.

To whom it may concern I have known Lindy-Lou & The Damo for six years where I have them performing at my music festival called Southern Blues Music Festival which started at the Tolosa Park Ampitheatre but then I found a better venue at Longley International Hotel for the last six years and usually have them finish the night off with their energetic and pulsating songs. I and other musicians have jammed with them to end the night off with a bang. I would recommend their musical act for any type of venue or Music Festival.

I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing the performer Lindy Lou Bean for almost thirty years. I have recorded with her in television studios along with a number of her supporting musicians many times. I have also enjoyed watching Lindy record her first album and in recent times I have loved watching her perform live with her son Damo. Apart from Lindy’s obvious talent, her ability to engage and energise an audience is quite rare. This is just one of the reasons that her gigs are so well supported with many ‘fans’ following her wherever she goes. Her vibrant personality is infectious and she leaves ‘fans’ feeling good at the end of her performance. Lindy has received many awards and acknowledgements throughout her illustrious career which is testament to the quality of her work. I can only encourage anyone considering engaging Lindy to do so. She is a fantastic ambassador for the music industry, pulls a crowd at her gigs and is a true entertainer with a beautiful voice.
