Aria Ritz is a proud palawa woman and passionate advocate for Aboriginal and human rights. Currently completing a Bachelor of Laws, Aria brings a unique blend of knowledge and cultural advocacy to her speaking engagements. Her dynamic presence and ability to engage audiences make her a sought-after speaker, MC, and facilitator across various platforms.
Aria has delivered keynote addresses and participated in high-profile panels, including the 2023 National Reconciliation in Education Symposium and the ‘Voice to Truth: Be a Voice for Generations’ lecture and panel discussion as part of the UTAS Island of Ideas lecture series. Most recently, she served as the MC for the 2024 Hobart Reconciliation Week Breakfast, which concluded to be the largest sit-down breakfast in the history of Tasmania. Aria’s experience demonstrating her leadership and ability to guide important conversations with poise and clarity.
With a deep commitment and focus on truth-telling and education, Aria has co-facilitated cultural awareness workshops for the past four years, focusing on sharing Tasmania’s true history. Her workshops spark meaningful conversations about racism and allyship, drawing from her personal experiences and extensive knowledge.
