Nuria is the stage name of Tasmanian indie-pop artist Anna Maynard. This born and bred- Tasmanian girl has played music throughout Australia with notable past performances- including the Cygnet Folk Festival, Nannup Folk Festival, Top Half Folk Festival and- support act for the Waifs with fellow artist Dave Crowe. She is also a regular feature at- MONA and Wrest Point Casino and numerous other Hobart bars and venues.

Trained in piano and classical singing from a young age music has always been a part of her life and songwriting a natural means of expression. Nuria's major female musical influences include Norah Jones, Missy Higgins and Regina Spektor.

In addition to a large range of covers, Nuria's performances are rich with her own- compositions. She released her debut album "Growing Daisies" under her name Anna- Maynard in 2014 and has released a new album "Alive" under the new stage name of- Nuria in 2020 which has received huge radio support.

Her live performance with voice and piano gives a stripped back and intimate version of- the electro-pop sound she is known for. Nuria performs in a variety of settings including- weddings, funerals and corporate events and will deliver an experience tailored to meet- the needs of your occasion.
