Ralph Forehead has been playing Spanish guitar since he first started learning the instrument over 15 years ago. His fascination and passion for flamenco music led him to travel to Andalucia in southern Spain in 2007 where he studied with some of the finest flamenco guitarists in the world, including Gerardo Nunez, Manolo Sanlucar and Manolo Franco.
He has accompanied touring flamenco dancers and performed with his own ensembles and dancers from Hobart. Ralph's extensive experience in other genres such as jazz and latin allows him to tailor his music to the situation - be it fiery flamenco, gentler exquisite melodies or a combination of the two.
