Scott Mainwaring has been part of the Australian rock and blues music scene for over 40 years and was a member of well-respected, award-winning blues and roots band Pale Riders in the ‘90s, supporting the likes of musical heavyweights Midnight Oil, The Angels, Divinyls, Ian Moss, Hunters & Collectors and Hoodoo Gurus.

With such a diverse range of bands and musical styles under his belt along with his desire to mentor young talent, Scott is still passionate about discovering and creating new music and sharing this with audiences. Scott’s solo performances showcase his immense talent and passion for rock, blues and roots.

Playing as part of The Sheyana Band, his guitar playing on their album ‘Big Love’ has been reviewed as ‘sublime’ and they have recently been awarded the ‘2018 Chris Wilson Award for Emerging Act of the Year’ from the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society‘s Victorian & Tasmanian Blues Music Awards.
