    Eleanor Meredith
    Eleanor Meredith is a pianist and singer from Hobart Tasmania. She grew up in a musical family and was encouraged explore music from a very young age mainly through singing, and at age 7 began to play piano after her parents brought one into the family home. As a self-taught songwriter, Eleanor entered and won many local talent competitions, including the Cygnet Folk Festival’s youth blackboard Competition, throughout her teen years whilst also being involved in local community Concert Bands and Big Bands where she developed an appreciation for many genres of music, but particularly a love for jazz. In 2013 Eleanor received the Hobart Jazz Club’s Ian Pearce Memorial Scholarship in Jazz Improvisation as part of the Clarence Jazz Festival giving her the opportunity to study Jazz piano properly under Randal Muir. After some time off from piano pursuing classical composition and jazz voice, Eleanor took jazz piano back up studying under Matt Boden at the Conservatorium of Music and is now in high demand as a pianist and singer both as a performer and teacher. She has led and performed in numerous ensembles, playing original compositions and arrangements, and has garnered much respect in the Hobart community for her abilities.

    Electric Tangerine is a Tasmanian covers band. We have curated timeless songs written by classic rock artists from across the ages. Our song list can be tailored to suit different functions and song preferences – a family birthday, wedding or anniversary celebration, your sporting club’s function night, an energetic pub or party night, or a more easy-going afternoon event. We can deliver one, two, or three sets of live music for your gig. Whilst we are a six piece band, our sound can be rearranged as needed to suit background volumes or louder sound levels at your venue. Electric Tangerine respects and celebrates vintage rock music and artists from the late 1960’s to early 2000’s.

    Elvis We Remember Tribute Show
    Lady’s and gentlemen Kerry Tatnell presents Elvis We Remember Tribute Show: singing hits from Elvis’s concerts Vegas and movies. We offer one and two hour shows available for functions, parties, weddings and hotels. Kerry has been an Elvis fan since he was about 9 years old and started performing when he was in grade 6. He has been performing The Elvis show professionally for about 4 years now for hotels functions RSL clubs and weddings. For the last 7 months The Elvis Show has had a residency at the Launceston Country Club Casino once a month. The show itself is a 2 man show ““ The performer and a sound technician. The costumes are Elvis replicas which are sourced from America, as is the jewelry. The 2 hour show entails 30 to 40 songs ranging from 1950 to 1977, covering Elvis’s career such as Hound Dog, Blue Suede Shoes, Burning Love, In the Ghetto, Always on my mind, Bridge Over Troubled Water and Sweet Caroline. Tassie born & bred, Kim has honed her talent over many years, performing with various bands around Hobart and interstate at venues such as The Museum of New and Old Art (MONA), The Longley International Hotel, The Republic Bar & Café, and The Salty Dog Hotel. Originally hailing from Northern NSW, Dylan has a career history with music and brings with him more than 20 years of experience as a performer, producer and teacher. One of Hobart’s newest duos, Embers are continuing to add to their repertoire, which covers songs from the 60s – today.

    Emily Sanzaro
    Emily is a harpist, vocalist, violinist and electronic loop artist based in Launceston, Tasmania.  She is passionate about performance and the harp lends itself to this with its dramatic appearance and magical sound. Emily’s passion lies in creating contemporary arrangements, original compositions, improvisations and experimentation with percussion, electronic effects and looping.  She also plays a wide range of musical genres including folk, jazz, blues & classical. Relishing any opportunity to depart from the type of music audiences expect to hear from a  harp, with the use of her loopstation she is able to combine harp, vocals, violin, percussion and pedal effects into her solo performance creating a complex, multi-layered sound.  She is also able to present the harp as a solo acoustic instrument for a traditional sound when the occasion requires it.  Emily will work professionally with you to provide the right style of performance to suit your needs. Emily is a versatile performer, with experience in numerous solo and collaborative performance contexts.  Emily has performed multiple times at MONA FOMA, Dark Mofo, Days on the Island, FARO Music Cluster @ MONA, MOFO Sessions Music @ MONA, Beaker Street Science Festival, Taste of Tasmania, ECHO Festival, Junction Arts Festival, along with multiple live radio broadcasts with ABC radio.  Emily contributed as a sessional recording artist for Holy Holy’s ARIA nominated album ‘Hello My Beautiful World’. Her debut solo album of original contemporary music; ‘AWAKEN’ released in 2021 with the support of a grant from the Arts Tasmania ‘Contemporary Music Fund’.  This album was launched with 5 sold out live performances as part of MONA FOMA 2022 at the QVMAG Planetarium along with Emily’s original film projections. Emily attended the Australian Art Orchestra ‘Creative Music Intensive’ in 2019 as a recipient of a MONA full scholarship and is an active member of Launceston’s ‘Composers’ Cage Collective’. Emily has a close working relationship with Tasdance, has performed on multiple occasions with the Launceston Philharmonic Orchestra and has served as president of the Harp Society of Tasmania.  Emily is also a registered Occupational Therapist and works as a therapeutic harpist playing her small harp at the beside for palliative patients in the last stages of their life. An avid bushwalker Emily takes her small harp into the Tasmanian wilderness whenever possible with her bespoke Macpac backpack.

    End of Conversation have been fixtures on the Tasmanian music scene for over 10 years now, thrilling crowds with their great mix of well loved covers and left of centre bangers.-  The band consists of Tony Deayton on vocals and guitar, Dave Wane on drums and vocals, siblings Ben & Callum Blizzard on vocals and bass, and keyboards respectively and their father Raymond Blizzard on vocals and guitar. The band have played all around the Island State from Smithton in far North West, Coles Bay on the East Coast, and as far South as Kettering and Port Arthur.-  Add to this pub gigs at numerous venues in and around Hobart, Weddings, Engagement, Christmas and Birthday Parties and corporate gigs galore and you can see that the boys have been bringing the fun to a host of punters in a myriad of situations.   The band are all about entertainment and always cater their set lists for each occasion.-  From 50’s and sixties exclusive sets for Tassie Rock “˜n’ Roll dances, gentle wedding dance requests, disco bangers and out and out pub rockers, they pride themselves on being able to deliver the goods.-  With four lead vocalists who love to harmonize, their ability to perform a range of styles is greatly enhanced, and the two guitars, keyboards, bass and drums set up means that they can cater for most requests that are thrown their way. As a band, End of Conversation realize that the night is not about them, but about the punters.-  Making sure that they send the punters home having had a great night with great memories of some great entertainment.

    Finn Seccombe Duo

    Finn Seccombe is a diverse singer/guitarist playing styles ranging from pop through soul, RnB, reggae to straight jazz. He is usually accompanied by Simon Reid on guitar or bass and if Simon is already booked, with Kelly Ottoway. Finn has recorded several albums of his own, the most recent being Trumps “˜Derailed’. These songs are all loosely in the genre of roots reggae, perfect for any outdoor festival or live music event, and can be performed as duo or alternatively, depending on budget, with the full band. You can expect a high energy performance with soulful vocals and rhythmic innovative guitar work. Simon and Finn’s guitar styles, although quite different complement each other and they are always coming up with new and exiting ways to approach the repertoire.

    Four d’Fiesta is a Hobart-based, close-harmony vocal quartet with a diverse range of repertoire, from ballads to shanties to quirky takes on modern songs. Drawing from 1.5hrs of repertoire and adding songs as needed to suit gigs, we can suit a wide range of gigs. Engaging, fun, and unique, we take the audience on an emotional journey. Formed in 2021 by members of Deep South Chorus and ThylaSing, we love getting into the character of the event. Two of our members are music educators, another two are ex-armed servicemen, and one is an Air Force brat who grew up on military bases. If you’re looking for something with classic lines and a ton of horsepower in a compact package, look no further than Four d’Fiesta.
