MC- Peter Murphy
Murph has been the Weatherman at 7 Tasmania since 1984. He moved to Tasmania in 1982 to work at Radio 7EX which is when he started voice-over work for commercials and- program promotions at the TV station. As well as the odd Dad Joke in the weather segment he has helped promote most, if not all of the state’s major events and charities as well. He has been the MC for the Hawthorn Football Club President’s Lunches each time they play in Tasmania. The Community Achievement Awards, Tasmanian Tourism Awards, Tasmanian Hospitality Awards, Save the Children Ball, Motor Industry Awards are among other major events in which Murph has been involved .Added To List

MC. Andy ‘Tubes’ Taylor
Andy ‘Tubes’ Taylor is the host of Triple M Breakfast, Hobart. Additionally, Tubes is an MC, host, quiz master, sports commentator and father. In 2023 he was a finalist for the Australian Commercial Radio Awards “National Best New Talent – Podcast” for his shortcast series “Tubes’ Spin on Sport”. Tubes has MC’d events such as the Alistair Lynch Medal, Ricky Ponting Medal, William Leitch Medal, The Ashes (2022); forums for RACT, Destination Southern Tasmania and the Work and Training awards. He also was the chief commentator for the 2022/23 Women’s National Cricket League Final (Fox Sports); Tasmanian State League, Southern Football League and Southern Football League Womens Grand Finals (Australian Rules); Sheffield Shield Cricket (Cricket Australia) and Triple M Footy commentary duties. Quizzer of Oz
The Quizzer of Oz has been writing, organizing & running quiz nights and other events in Tasmania since 1989. The business is run by David Walch. David is a former TV quiz champion and is a professional performer. He has been acting, hosting events and running quiz nights for over 24 years. We run quiz nights for all sorts of charities, sports groups, social clubs, conferences, parties etc. Our usual quiz format is 8 rounds of 12 questions (96 questions in all), on a variety of subjects, presented by PowerPoint, utilising audio and video components and projected onto a large screen. This format normally results in an event length of approximately 2.5 hours. The format of a quiz can be modified to suit your specific needs though from – 10 minutes to 2.5 hoursAdded To List

Scott Burns
Scott Burns performance life began as a DJ in London’s Westend nightclub circuit in 1988. He then joined the band “The Lack of Commitments” for which he was the lead singer. And his love of singing was off & running! This led to numerous parts in musical theatre as well as dramatic roles. And the rest as they say, is history! Scott now lives and works as an entertainer in Tasmania. He can be seen performing regularly at Hobart’s Wrest Point Casino as “The Retro DJ” & singing his heart out in the Acoustic Duo “The 50/50” He can also be seen around Hobart hosting quiz nights and performing Emcee duties at various public events. Scott is a keen voiceover actor, providing voiceover announcements for The Taste of summer to promote Covid safety awareness. And was the voice of the gameshow host in the “Rethink ADHD” animation campaign. Scott has appeared on TV as the Soulful Singing Preacher, telling Tasmania to “POO, POKE, POST”!
