    Daryl Peebles – Roving Magician uses illusion and charm to guarantee a perfect roving magician. But he also uses different objects he produces from a ‘hand-bag’, his diary, a kitchen knife, odd bits of rope, light globes and rubber bands are common. For tourists, he loves to play ‘travel agent poker’ with a surprise ending that promotes Tasmania as a great tourist destination. Throughout his table routine, Daryl’s main emphasis is the humour in the performance.     Lady’s and gentlemen Kerry Tatnell presents Elvis We Remember Tribute Show: singing hits from Elvis’s concerts Vegas and movies. We offer one and two hour shows available for functions, parties, weddings and hotels. Kerry has been an Elvis fan since he was about 9 years old and started performing when he was in grade 6. He has been performing The Elvis show professionally for about 4 years now for hotels functions RSL clubs and weddings. For the last 7 months The Elvis Show has had a residency at the Launceston Country Club Casino once a month. The show itself is a 2 man show ““ The performer and a sound technician. The costumes are Elvis replicas which are sourced from America, as is the jewelry. The 2 hour show entails 30 to 40 songs ranging from 1950 to 1977, covering Elvis’s career such as Hound Dog, Blue Suede Shoes, Burning Love, In the Ghetto, Always on my mind, Bridge Over Troubled Water and Sweet Caroline. Let’s remember Elvis for the great entertainer that he is…

    Imagination Jungle
    Imagination Jungle is an 80-minute performing arts group activity for K-6 years. This program is ideal for empowering self-confidence in presentation skills, cooperation in the classroom and improved health and well-being outcomes for all who take part. Sessions teach participants about all the jobs involved in producing a theatrical stage show. Participants develop an impromptu performance by creating masks, musical instruments, costumes and using texts from selected plays and songs. Also, they get to take their mask creation home. Program Requirements: Imagination Jungle requires a large area to be creative and noisy, with four large rectangular tables.

    Jamie Willson
    Jamie is a well known and sought after percussionist within the Hobart music scene. Jamie is multi-talented, playing both classical percussion, drum kit and jazz vibraphone and has received the Clarence Jazz Festival Ian Pearce Scholarship in 2018 and the Jazz Improvisation Outstanding Student award at the West Texas A&M University Band Camp in 2019. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Percussion at Utas and was awarded the Susan Williams Prize for TCE music in 2020. He has been studying percussion and drum kit since 2011, studying under Tracey Patten, Matt Goddard and Gary Wain. Jamie was selected for, and participated in the Australian Youth Orchestra Young Symphonists program in 2016, 2017 & 2018. In 2018 he won the Hobart Eisteddfod Just Percussion Special Award ““ Most promising percussionist. He is also currently a permanent percussionist in the A Grade Glenorchy City Council Brass Band and a member of the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra Percussion Ensemble. A keen jazz player, playing vibraphone and drum kit and studying improvisation under Kelly Ottaway. He has played on stage at the Clarence Jazz Festival with George Washingmachine and Adrian Cunningham. Jamie is always interested in collaboration and can step into any percussion/drum kit opportunity. He plays across a broad range of genres and is equally comfortable as a soloist or member of an ensemble. As a solo vibraphonist, Jamie enjoys playing jazz standards, in particular works by the Modern Jazz Quartet, and easy listening songs. He is equally at home playing solo classical percussion repertoire. Jamie is based in southern Tasmania but he is happy to travel. Perfect for your event.

His career achievements include 4 yes’s on Australia’s Got Talent and has had the privilege of performing in Poland at the European juggling convention.
