    Kollision
    Kollision from Hobart Tasmania stand as a dynamic force in the rock scene. Formed in 2021, this four-piece powerhouse comprises a drumming virtuoso, a bass maestro, a guitar phenom, and a vocal powerhouse.     Vocalist & Pianist POP| JAZZ | BLUES | FUNK | SOUL Lachlan’s rich piano arrangements, smooth vocals and the ability to totally immerse himself in the music, has captivated any audiences. With versatile musical experiences; from intimate jazz gigs, through to filling the dance floor with high energy rock/pop covers, he has a natural knack of being able to read the room, and select the right songs to create a positive vibe. His diverse repertoire has something for everyone as he touches on styles such as pop, jazz, blues, funk and soul. He can tastefully rearrange songs by changing speed and style to fit the atmosphere of the venue. He also leads a trio with drums and bass, incorporating funk, soul and reggae grooves as well as three part harmony to create an infectious live experience.     Lasca Dry
    Lasca Dry is a female singer/songwriter from Tasmania’s North West, currently playing many of Hobart’s premier live music venues. Lasca has supported Davey Lane from “˜You Am I’ and toured her home state supporting Paul Dempsey from the band “˜Something for Kate’. Lasca has her very own unique flavour of slightly bittersweet melancholy songs being heartfelt, honest, deceptively simple, direct and contagious. Hauntingly beautiful vocals and melodies her songs of Life, Love and Loss carry her listeners into any emotional realm that she chooses to take them. Lasca largely performs originals, but can pepper classics from the likes of The Beatles, John Lennon and Neil Young through her sets on request.

    Les Coqs Incroyables
    Les Coqs Incroyables is a hatchling of the popular Hobart swing band, the Red Hot Roosters and performs many old classic swing tunes, jazz standards and crazy songs about birds and other fauna with infectious rhythm and energy. The trio is made up of Ralph Forehead on Guitar, Dean Stevenson on double bass and Randal Muir on accordion and with three part vocal arrangements, has an exciting full sound at an acoustic volume.

    Lindy Lou & The Damo
    Lindy-Lou & The Damo provide entertainment for public and private events. With a full repertoire of popular music to enhance any event. From an early background in dance, theatre and music, in 1979 Lindy-Lou got her big break after winning the prestigious Channel 9 Tasmania’s New Faces which launched a long and successful singing career. Lindy-Lou Bean has enjoyed a highly successful career spanning over 50 years and is a multi award-winning singer and recording artist. Over her career, Lindy-Lou has worked in numerous successful bands all over Tassie, from the NW coastal band, Judge ‘n’ Jury, to Bodytalk, Total Fire band, Cheap & Easy, Borderline and on to Resident Singer at Wrest Point Casino. Her show band, Hot Gossip, toured with America on the Tassie leg of their tour. As the Resident singer at Wrest Point, she supported many National and International artists, including John Farnham, Darryl Braithwaite, Randy Travis, Helen Reddy, Johnny Chester, Tony Pantano and many more. Lindy-Lou was inducted as the 2018 Legend of Country Music by TICMA, Tasmanian Independent Country Music Association. Damian Neep is a trained drummer/teacher/vocalist…he brings many years of band experience and recordings to the duo. Damo has a powerful vocal sound and it is his presence that has earned the duo the tag…’The Party Band’. He’s a consumate professional and vibrant entertainer. Lindy-Lou and Damian showcase genres from the 70s to today, if you want rockin vocals, great entertainment and dance music, then this is your act.

    Lines Like Water is the performance moniker of Rob Hortle, a singer-songwriter and award-winning poet from the Southern edge of the world. Rob has several years of experience playing for audiences at pubs, small festivals, corporate events, balls, and charity events in Australia and the UK. With a mix of originals and unique covers, he is ready to bring you folk-punk, rock and roll, Aussie classics, pop princesses, hip-hop, and everything in between. Since returning to Tasmania in 2023, Rob has been a regular at some of Hobart’s most popular venues, including Jack Greene, Botanica, the Telegraph Hotel, the Cascade Brewery Bar, Franklin Wharf Bar and Restaurant, and the Den. Rob was the first person to win the national Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Award two years in a row, has had his poetry published in several magazines, and received a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the UK Songwriting Competition for his original song ‘Resurrection’.

    Louise Denson Solo/Trio/Quartet
    Louise Denson: Pianist, Composer Louise Denson is an award-winning pianist/composer/arranger with more than 30 years professional experience. Her training in jazz, Afro-Cuban/Brazilian and classical music make her a versatile performer with an extensive repertoire at her command. She has worked in many settings – as a solo pianist, in instrumental or vocal duos/trios/quartets/ quintets, in salsa, merengue and Brazilian ensembles and big bands. She has a commitment to melody, rich, jazz-inflected harmony and to creating music which communicates on a strong emotional level with audiences. Canadian-born, Louise migrated to Brisbane in 1999 where she worked as a jazz lecturer and gigging musician for 20+ years. Highlights from the subtropics include working with vocalist Ingrid James – 2 CD recordings and performances in London, Sydney, Melbourne and across Queensland. She also recorded 4 CDs under her own name. Nova Nova (2021) earned 4-stars in the Weekend Australian Review – ‘Eight cleverly arranged compositions by Denson produce beautiful improvisations from all players’ (Eric Meyers). Louise is well known as a composer/arranger. Colours of Your Love (2018, w/Ingrid James and Wild Silk Strings Project) featured compositions/arrangements for jazz quintet, voice and strings, receiving acclaim from around the world – ‘The listener is taken on a thrilling journey through an eclectic repertoire with a vast emotional landscape’ (Pete Churchill, professor of Jazz Composition, Royal Academy of Music, London). Louise’s compositions have been performed/recorded by artists as diverse as Downbeat poll-winning trombonist Bill Watrous, Bell Award-winning vocalist Elly Hoyt, Viney- Grinberg Duo, Muses Trio, and Southern Cross Soloists. ‘Saborea el momento’ was commissioned by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. mulaka milaythina, a 35-min work for 10-piece jazz/classical ensemble and narrator, was commissioned by the Clarence Jazz Festival 2023, supported by Festivals Australia. Cooktown Cantata: Songs of Love, Place and Identity, a 50-min work for 3 voices and 6-piece ensemble, was commissioned for the 250th anniversary of the voyage of the Endeavour to Far North Queensland. Denson continues to perform and compose from her base in Hobart, and to collaborate with renowned musicians across Australia.

    Louise Goich
    Louise has been performing, writing, and recording music for over 25 years locally and interstate. Starting off in her early days, as a teenager, she was writing folk tunes, then she progressed to an original punk band where she had the role as lead singer and rhythm guitarist. The band, Hazchem, recorded and released an EP titled ‘Flat Out’. In later years, while raising a family, Louise branched out further in the music scene by teaching guitar and vocals at various local schools, and continued with live gigs, performing a range of folk, blues and jazz – originals and covers. Every now and then she might slip in a cheeky punk tune from the old days. Louise performs at events, vineyards, local venues, and functions, solo and in various different ensembles.
